My Meaning of Home

My home is a place where I believe I belong. A place where I can be myself. My home can mean a lot of things. But some of the most important things it means is family and a place where I can be me. I know not everyone has a place where they feel at home but it's pretty great to have a place that you can go home to. To know that I have people there waiting for me at home even if they're mad or sad - it still will always be home to me. So what home means to me is a place where I can go to feel happy. It’s where my annoying sister is and my messy room is, even though it's not perfect - it is for me. Home is where a place is to get away from it all. Home is not just my house. It is sports, people, games and bonding, but most importantly it’s friends and family. I love my home and sometimes I feel like I don’t belong but I really do because deep down, home will always be family. Sometimes you may come home to smelly underwear or a weird dog licking its butt. But I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Some people think home is just some building but that's not what it is. That’s just a house. Home is where your family is and a place where you can be happy. So tell me: Do you have a place that you can call home? Because as long as you have a family, I think you can call that a home. That's my home.
