What Home Means to Me

Not everyone has a home, but everyone deserves one. Home is a place where you can find love. Home is not a house, a house is a building that provides shelter to people who live in it. A house has walls, roof, doors, floors, windows, rooms and furniture. A home is where your heart is, it's a place where you feel like you belong. A home has love, laughter, pets, fun, care, health, hugs, comfort and freedom. There's a big difference between a house and home. For me, home is a great place to be. It has everything you need - a family that loves you so much, toys that are fun to play with, and yummy food that we cook together. It is a place where you care for each other. Every day you make memories that you can never forget. I feel loved, strong, safe and entertained. I do everything in my home. I sleep on my comfy bed with amazing stuffies. I eat delicious food that my mom and I cook together. I play games with my family and I watch movies with my friends. If I didn't have a home, I would feel lonely, sad and scared. This is why everyone deserves a home. Thank you for letting me have an opportunity to help build a home for someone in need.
