It’s more than a place, it’s a place to eat and sleep and play and live in. It is a place where families get together, To have a good time with one another. I feel sorry for those who don’t have a home, because without a home, you have no security, no shelter, no place to keep all your things, no place to get together with families, no food, no water, no place to laugh, no place to mourn, no place to play, no place to bond, and an extremely difficult life. That is why I thank Habitat for Humanity, For providing homes for all people so they have sanity, so it will not be a catastrophe, because we do not want a calamity. We want homes for all, for protection, shelter, and extreme happiness Without a house you have no easy way to get through life. So why do we complain over the littlest things when some people have no home? The least we can do is help them. I want whoever reads this to be inspired to give money toward houses for people who do not have one. I hope this poem/essay inspires all who read it to do their part to make the world a better place. Homes mean very much to me because without one, life is difficult, especially during winter. That is why we all need to pitch in, to donate money to build homes. Habitat for Humanity has the right idea, and we should build on it. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for preventing a catastrophe, for when you help townspeople the joy spreads through all people, Giving all a sense of sanity.
