What Does Home Mean to Me?

What does home mean to me? To many people, home means a roof over their head and walls around them. But home means so much more than that. To me home is comfort, home is a loving family surrounding you with kindness. It’s a safe place to express yourself without having to feel worried or stressed about anything. Not everyone has a home, and sometimes we have to reflect on how it might affect their lives. Home is also a place to be free. You can be the person you want to be without having to hide who you are. Every day coming home from school knowing that I'll be able to talk to my parents about my day, being happy in my home, is really just amazing. -Madeline Hall-
