The Meaning of Home

When I come home from school all I hear is barking from my dogs, Apollo and Nick. Their welcome is what makes my house a home. It might hurt your ears but it is cute. A house is a place you might stay but you are not familiar with. You might not even know where the bathroom is! In a home, you can lay on the couch or bed and no one can judge you. No one will judge you for how you look. When you are at home and feel sad, mad or annoyed, your bed will comfort you. My home makes me feel safe and comfortable. Everyone deserves to have a home. Somewhere special to feel calm and comfortable. I am really grateful for my home and everything that I have. A home to me is a place where you learn your first steps and first words. Those are just some of the special moments that count in your home. I am sharing my writing to help someone else find their home.
