The Meaning of Home

Home is where I have joy and where I have my family and pets. When I come home after school, I see my parents. We play this game called Candy Crush. My mom loves the game but I don’t. But at least my mom is happy. My home may not be that big, but at least I have a roof over my head. At least I have a shelter to live in. Some people don’t have houses. We should be grateful that we live in a house. When I got my first ever cat in 2016, the pet store workers said she was abandoned. I felt really bad. When my mom bought the cat, I named her Lucy because of my friend Lucy. When we took the cat home, we opened the cage and my cat Lucy ran. When I pet her, she scratched all over my face. But at least my cat has a home where she feels safe. My home makes me safe and I’m grateful to have a house.
