The Meaning of Home

To me, home is a feeling and a place to stay and feel safe. You have family members at home, and you can feel comfortable having a roof over your head. Staying safe and warm can be difficult if you don’t have a home. I have so many celebrations with relatives eating great food and having a party. I think birthdays are a big part of life because it's the most special time of every year. You get great presents and friends and family members are there to wish you happy birthday. My parents work so hard to provide for me and my family and I'm so grateful for that. When I come home from school, I smell great food and my mom greets me. I have amazing memories like my dad or mom teaching me how to make my favourite food and ,playing with siblings and family. So many great things can happen in your house. A home is a part of your life and that's where you belong. Everything about it is amazing. Not having a home would be the worst thing to go through. I feel like everyone should have a home and until now I didn't think that was possible, but Habitat for Humanity can change a person's life forever.
