What Home Means to Me
Home is where I live. When I am at home I feel joy and I feel safe. My home may change time to time. I will still have memories no matter what, if I move or if I stay.
Even if I move I will make new memories. I learned to talk and walk in my home. You may have pets who keep you company if you are lonely.
It does not matter where you are, it matters who you are with. It does not matter if you are rich or poor it matters who you are with. Your home may be big or small, your home is your home. It doesn’t matter what people think if you like it, you like it. I think it is important if everyone has a safe home. I feel that it would be incredible if everyone had access to affordable housing through programs like Habitat for Humanity despite where you are in relation to the poverty line.
It makes me really really sad when I think about the people who live on the streets or the people who are less fortunate.
That’s what I can tell you about the meaning of home to me.
