Bad weather Roof over head and and a warm bed Loneliness Family and pets and a lot of rest Empty stomach growls In the kitchen yummy meals and sweet treats as the family meets Lots of friends all day Go to my bedroom to get away Winning face is on and game night is here In the living room showing no fear Snacks and a movie I’ve wanted to see Basement is where I will be Happy memories with family for all time The meaning of home is this poem's final line
