The Meaning of Home

Whenever someone hears the word home, they think about a house or a building. But that's where they are wrong. Home is a feeling, not a place. Home is a place where you can be yourself, do what you love, and enjoy with the people around you. You can feel like you're at home, by being with those who you love, doing what you enjoy, and by feeling free and not needing to feel pressured. Everyone deserves a home, a place where they can enjoy. I feel like I am at home because I feel relaxed, I feel free or I feel like I can do what I like, and I feel content. I don’t feel pressured, stressed, or unhappy. At home I also don’t feel threatened to do something for someone or I will get in trouble. For example, I feel like I am at home when I draw, when I play with my toys, and when I see my family. I feel lucky that I have a home. As you can see, home is not a place, it’s a feeling.
