What Home Means To Me

Home to me is the place where I want to be, Somewhere where I can just be me. A home is more than walls and a roof, It's built with love and I'm living proof. Home is where I stay and home is where I play, Home is where I rest while I quietly lay And soon as the days go on, My brothers and sisters will soon be gone. A home is where memories grow, Like making cookies with nice sweet dough. We will stir, chop and bake, And that is one thing a home will make. Me and my family will play some games, And some of us will end up red like flames. It doesn't matter if it's with cards and a dice Because at my home it will always be nice. A home may cost a big price, But I will never think about it twice, It is about the people not the place There are lots of memories waiting to be embraced. When I come home I feel the love But maybe once I'll feel a shove Me and my sister will make a quick disaster But when we hear mother, we will clean up faster. A home is a place where you can have fun And some people have just begun At your house you grew I hope that others will get to do that too.
