Home Sweet Home
Home to me isn’t just four walls and a roof, it's the memories made in it. It’s the family in it. It’s the fun games made and played in this house we call home. Although some people may say home is just a building to me it’s a place to find shelter, love and most importantly family.
Home before the pandemic was just a house, but since then it’s turned into a school and a restaurant. It’s been a place to make happy memories and sad memories, but through it all it was still my home.
My home has been many things throughout my life. With a little bit of imagination, my home has turned into multiple biomes, a race track and a hockey rink. Home is what you make it.
Home isn’t just a house, just go outside and look around. That bird's nest is a home to them. That hole in your yard is a home to the hopping rabbits. Home can be anything you want as long as you have love, comfort and family.
I’ve grown up in this house, spoke my first words in this house, learned to walk in this house and I can’t imagine a day without this house.
Like I’ve said in the beginning, home isn’t just four walls and a roof, it’s a place for love.
I hope your organization can give people who have found their house in debris another chance to have a key.
