Home Is Where Your Heart Belongs
When you think about it, most people don’t notice how grateful they should be to have a home. Home is where your heart belongs and where your loved ones are. A place where you feel safe and loved.
Take a look around, probably all your friends and classmates have a home. Yet, the numbers get higher and higher by the moment. Who would have ever guessed that approximately 35 000 people in Canada can’t experience the sanctuary and joy of living in a home? Furthermore, take a moment to think of the future generations of those 35 000 people who are homeless. We who have a place to call home can help at least a little to bring happiness to those others who have a chance to live merrily. Even the smallest of actions to help could mean a lot.
Home for me is where all my past memories are and where my future memories are made. Home can be wherever you feel safe, around your loved kin and friends. Maybe some things aren’t as you would have liked. In spite of that, home is where you can relax and be yourself, where you can sleep in safety, and where you and your memories belong together with your family.
Home isn’t only a building built into the ground, but mostly the people around you, family or even only friends. Home can be small or big, but no matter the shape, it is always yours. Home is where your heart belongs.
