Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? Why is it important to have a home? Is there a point in having a home? This is what home means to me. When you’re at home, you can make memories you can never let go of. The reason you can get these memories is because you get to spend time with people you love, people you care for, friends, family, brothers, sisters Etc. You can make memories by bonding with friends, playing with brothers, sisters, eating a nice meal with your family. All of this is because of a home. This is what memories can be at home. When the darkest times of my life haunt me, my home is also where I can be safe. The reason home is safe is because I can feel my parents warm embrace when I’m around them, I can also take shelter from harsh weather and take cover from it so it will not plummet on me. When it starts raining, I take shelter in my home, knowing that the house is there to protect me. This is why home is a safe place for me. Home is where I can be free of my will. The reason is that when I’m free, I can do whatever I want because a home has everything I need. When I’m free, I can play or do whatever hobby I want to do without anything bothering me in the house or creeping in the house. This is why home is where I can be free. This is what home means to me, why it’s important to me and why there is a point in having a home. Why do you think a home is important to you?
