Home Is Not a Place But a Feeling

To me I find home is not a place but a feeling. I think that everyone should be able to have that home feeling when they walk through their door or climb under shelter. I am very grateful that I can enjoy the feeling of home because imagine not having a safe place to go and feeling like you can’t be yourself and being scared to go to sleep. When a new family walks into their new home I hope they can feel home and come through their door and that its ok to feel sad, it’s ok to be happy, it’s ok to feel anything and that it’s ok to be their self. Imagine the look on their face so happy and excited thinking “I don’t have to be scared anymore because I can be me.” I hope my writing can help someone or a family think that it’s ok to be them no matter where they are. Also, I am very happy that my writing has the chance to make a difference in someone’s life. I hope that when someone walks into their new home because of all the donations made that they will forever be grateful. That is what home means to me. Remember that home isn’t always a place but a feeling.
