My Meaning of Home

Have you ever wondered why a home feels like a safe and fun place to be? That is the feeling of a home. Here's what I think makes my home feel like a home!!! All of the memories I make at home with my family all day and sometimes night. When I am playing Lego in my brother’s room it reminds me about all the time we worked at the dining room table on the lego sets we worked hours on and all the fun time goofing around on that table. When I am having a fun time We have a Nintendo switch and we play it almost every night and we’re like I'm going to win, no I am and we have so much fun playing we forget the time and it’s like 9:00 before we go to bed. The smell of every new room in my house has a new smell the second you walk into that room. When you're in my basement it smells like outside a little bit and like a lake a little bit. Because it connects to my lower basement that is where the water comes from. And my dad also hooks the hose up down there. It is not very important though. Because only me, my brother and my friends come over to my house. When you are in my brother's room it still smells the same way as when he was a lot younger like 3 or 2 and it will always smell like that no matter how long or hard you try it will take to try to get it away. My family makes my home feel like a home because they help and sometimes try to entertain. I have a dog and whenever a car goes by or someone walks past my house my dog will bark like she is in a parade with a million people right in front of her but my dog can’t reach them with the leash on. It is quiet for a second then another second later it is loud. First my dog barks then you hear my brother yell something and it is usually yes because he got something on Roblox and then my mom goes on a call and then my brother wants me to see the thing he got on Roblox. That is why my home feels like my home and never ever a house.
