What Home Means To Me

Home is where I am loved with the people that I love. Home is where I feel safe with my family. It is where love and happiness is spread throughout my family and I. Home is where you can let out your emotions and where you can be you. This is what home means to me. Many people think of home as just a random building but they are wrong, that’s a house. Your home doesn’t have to be a building. Home can be anywhere you can seek comfort. Home can be a bus station, a forest or anywhere you can be you and where you can feel appreciated. A home is where your family/the people you love are. A house is just walls and a roof but a home is made by the people inside. A house is just a building that you might spend your time in and where you might do activities. A house is where people live but home is where YOU live. The word “house” is a common term for a place where people live. Anyone can live in a house but YOU live in YOUR home. Home is where I work and where I play. Home is where I fight with my siblings but where they fill my heart with joy. My home is messy, and it’s crazy and loud but it’s where I feel safe and where I’m loved and that’s what home means to me. Home is where my family cares about me and where I care about them. Home is where I can be me.
