Home

To you, it may just look like a house, but to me it is my home. Arriving home after school is like a weight off my shoulders, relaxing and calming. I know where I will sleep tonight But some people have no bed to come home to. When I mail a letter, I have a return address to write, Some people have no address to call their own. Either, if it's hearing my turtles filter in the middle of the night Or reading my favorite book in my cozy bed. This is my home. Habitat for Humanity give people the dignity to have an address to write down, And a bed to rest in. By writing this poem, I am supporting Habitat for Humanity as they Help people come home.
