My Meaning of Home
Home is what you know and love,
The same as a turtle-dove.
With my two brothers, one young and one old,
Inside is warm and outside is cold.
Travelling every summer,
But tiring, what a bummer.
Eating sushi with some rice,
Drinking water with some ice.
Reading lots of pages,
Feels like it’s been ages.
Having fun that's home,
A place that you roam.
For your needs,
Like some seeds.
Home is where you feel protected,
Not when you're detected.
You can sleep in bed comfortably,
But, sadly, it’s not portable.
When you come back from travelling,
You fall in bed, tumbling.
Home is where you can play a game,
And your home is always the same.
But some people don’t have one,
So it’s not a funny pun.
You have to help and assist,
And you’ll never be missed.
