What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home means a lot to me. One of the important reasons why it does is, it’s a place where I can be myself and can be free. I think of home as a human being and treat it like one. That’s because it’s so close to my heart and I have lots of memories with it. Home is where I can have private and casual conversations with my parents. For example, if I have a problem at school, I wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing it with my friends, but I can comfortably share my feelings with my parents at home. Home is where I can be mindful and peaceful like the ocean. It’s also a place where I can be relaxed, calm and comfortable. Imagine you had a long day at school and you’re really tired but when you reach home you can just relax. Home is also where I can show my emotions. Sometimes I feel a little scared to cry in front of people but when I’m at home I can do almost anything I want. I can even cry as long as I want. Home is where joy comes from because I can read books snuggled up on my couch, solve Rubik’s cube sitting in my favorite spot at home and play basketball in my driveway. Home is where I can do whatever I want. I can play board games, watch TV and play piano. No matter where I am, at the end of the day, I always wanted to go home and cuddle up in my cozy little bed.
