What is a home to you?

When you immediately hear someone say the word “home” you might think of a Roof, Walls, Door, Backyard, but no. A home can be something different to everyone, Personally I think a home is, Love, Memories, Care, Peace, Safety, And all of that means to me, Love, Getting loved by family and friends, Memories, Opening gifts on Christmas day, Having friends and family over, Care, getting cared for when I’m sick, Checking in making sure I’m doing alright, Peace, laughter with friends and family at birthdays and game night, Safety no violence, No arguing or fighting, Secure, Making sure no one can break in and harm you and your family. And I’m so thankful to say that I have all of that. But a lot of people don’t have that, Not even close to that, some people don’t have a place to call home, And are leaving on the streets, They don’t have, Love, Memoires, Care, peace or safety. I’m so thankful for habitat for humanity that they can change that, maybe not all of it but they can say thy changed a lot of peoples lives. So I’m gonna ask you, What is a home to you?
