The Meaning of Home

What my home feels to me. My family makes a house feel like a home. They make the house feel safe, and that is safe from all the bad stuff outside. It is not the heater that keeps me warm, it is my house. It is cozy when me and my family get together. My home is my favorite, for my Dad puts a lot of work into the house. The reason I like the house so much is that I got to help my Dad with the house. My house is a place to go home. It’s a place to be with my family and be alone. At home I can play with my friends. At home it is a quiet place for me to do my work. I know some people don't have houses and that makes me sad, so that's why I am very thankful for my house. That is what home feels to me.
