What home means to me

What home means to me If you asked a handful of people what a home meant to them, the average answer would be something like, “It's where you feel like you belong.” or “It's where you feel safe and loved.” I think those things are true, but also I think that a home is more than that. I am lucky to have a home filled with happiness and laughter, a home that is bright and warm. Home for some people is warm, big and safe, filled with laughter and joy. For others a home is cramped, small, lots of noise and commotion. A home for some people could be small, dark and lonely. All these situations are home, but some are more preferable than others. It isn’t fair that some people have a warm and happy home while others have the opposite, a dark and cold small place to call their own. Every human being deserves to have a home filled with laughter and joy. A home that gives you a wave of happiness when you walk into it, and when you think about it gives you joyful memories. That goal may never be achieved but we can try. We can help however and whenever. We can make this world a better place for everyone.
