The Meaning of Home

Once upon a time a girl named Mary was in her room watching a show. A couple minutes later her mom walked in and sat at the end of her bed and told Mary that they were going to move to another house. Mary was so sad, she didn't even want to talk but Mary said, "when are we moving and why are we moving?" Her mom told Mary that they would be moving next week. Mary was so sad but also at the same time happy to get a chance to move into an even bigger house. A week passed and her parents couldn't find a house so they had to rent a motel room. Mary was worried that they would not have a house to stay at. A couple days later, her parents came into the hotel room with some good news. Apparently her parents found a small house on the other side of town. At this point Mary was happy but she also wanted a bigger house. Once they got to the house, Mary noticed that it was very small. She asked her parents if it was bigger on the inside. They shook their heads, no. Once they were inside the house, Mary started to get unpacked. Once the house was all done, Mary thought to herself that she shouldn't have thought about how big it was and whether it's a small or big house, it's still home.
