What Home Means To Me

When I hear the word home I think of my family and all the memories we make. When I get home from somewhere I feel safe and loved by my family. I live in a shelter with warmth and safety. I am so excited to make more and more memories with my family. When I think of home I think of my family. My family is my happy place. When we have dinner sometimes we watch a movie together. My home is so cozy and warm all the time. My home makes me feel warm and cozy. My home has a shelter that was built to keep families and mine safe. Everyone should have shelter, not everyone does. That's why Habitat for humanity wants to change that by building houses for those in need. My family has made so many memories in our home. Some are happy, special, sad and even funny ones. A happy memory was when we got our cat. I will always remember that special memory. I love my family and home. Everyone deserves a home. I can’t wait to make more and more memories in my home. Home is my happy place.
