Home To Move In

There once was a family who couldn’t afford Every time they tried they were underscored So one day they decided to apply To their old sad life they said goodbye Volunteers got called, got up and grabbed their tools They wanted to make this home such a jewel Everyday they worked tirelessly without sitting down For the family to come and live without a frown Walls got pushed up, floors got nailed Everything was flawless without a fail Perfect to fit this new family's needs, Because the builders were planting marvelous seeds The bright, bold colours they painted on the big walls The couches and chairs they took out of the truck and began to haul As the last final touches were beginning to unravel The home full colours was nothing like gravel One day they moved in, Because to them this was the greatest win They brought a few of their treasures But less of stuff more of memories of pleasure For later on days, weeks, months and years Throughout the home there was happiness, chaos even some tears This family had gone through so much Habitat for Humanity wanted to make the perfect touch All though this family needed this the most with due We still need to think about more people who need this too
