The Meaning of Home to Me

I learned that home is a feeling not just a living space. Home is where you are the most comfortable and it’s a safe place to make mistakes and try new things. When the virus started, many people began to celebrate their milestones, culture and language at home. That's when I started to appreciate that I have a home to celebrate in. Home is where you can spend time with your siblings and parents. You create lots of memories in your home with family and friends. Home is the feeling of happiness. I can imagine what not having a home felt like. I would be lost not knowing where I belong. That’s why I think Habitat for Humanity is a fantastic way to get a family that can’t afford a house, a proper home. I wish everyone in the world had a home but I know that some people can’t afford a home. To sum things up, rich or poor everyone deserves a home.
