Meaning of Home

Home means a place where you can be safe. It is a place where you can laugh and have fun. It’s where memories are made and where the laughter resides. You may live in a tiny house but if your house is filled with love and happiness then it is worth more than any mansion. Your home is not a simple building but a feeling. Your home has all that you need, a warm bed, a lively kitchen and joyful family room but most importantly it has my family in it. As a young child my home is where I learnt to walk and talk. Even when I fell while learning to walk, my home prevented me from getting injured. The walls of my home have heard my babbling as a baby as well as the multiple languages that I have now. It’s where my family has lived for many years. My dad tells me that we bought this wonderful house when I was born. t’s been with us for so long it has become a member of our family. It is a member who doesn’t talk but is always there to listen and provide comfort like a trustworthy friend. If I ever have to leave my home, my heart would ache while saying farewell. However, I know that I could always come back to the solace of my home. It is a privilege to have a home. I wish everyone on earth can have a place to call home.
