What Home Means to Me

Home is a sanctuary for you and for me. The meaning of home is stronger than what you may see. The meaning of home is hard to explain. It's a place to make memories with your family. It's a place to feel safe whether it's in a building or not. It's a place to feel loved and if you know what home feels like then you're luckier than what you probably thought. I know that not many people know what home feels like. That's why I'm writing this poem to help people who can't say I'm going home today. Habitat for humanity is helping so many hope you're inspired to help others. Just a simple task could change one's life. I t may seem hard or like someone else will do it but you truly never know. I love my home and it's in a building, but the building is not my home it's the feeling of being safe and loved that makes my house a home. I hope that one day everyone will have a home where they feel safe, not scared, love not hated. Habitat for humanity thank you so much for helping make my wish come true.
