The Poem of Home

The Poem of Home by Gwen Haverkamp Home is a place where you can be you, a place where you feel safe, a place you can call home. I am very glad and thankful I do. Home has a safe yard and a safe place to stay. I know that you can always be excited to come home. Most of my memories are in my house, so if other people can have a home, I bet they will have an amazing life. My home smells like freshly baked bread and bacon. When I wake up, I feel the crinkle sheets and the nice warm blankets, with the cold crisp air around me, with the birds chirping outside my window. Home is a place where you can feel safe. A place where you have food, warmth, water, comfort and people you love and care for. A place that is always there. A place you can call home.
