What Home Means to Me

Some people think that home is just a building, but then they're very wrong. House is a building with boards and beams. A home is a place with love, dreams, wishes and memories. My home contains my parents, my brothers and my dog. Home is where I sleep, dream, play, and have fun. Home is where I learned to stand, learned to walk, learned to run. Most importantly I learned to have fun! My address has changed as I got older but I will always have the memories of all the amazing homes! My home is filled with fun! As a family we go snowshoeing, walk on the railroad track, and I play hockey with my family on the outdoor rink. We also like to go sliding off the big snow hill in our backyard. When I think of home I feel happy and never alone, and I'll never think twice when I think of home. Home will always be a place where I can express myself in all that’s right, every morning and night. Every home has its own story and every story is unique. Helping to build a house to help one another. Let's take the opportunity to help one another. We are helping them and growing our hearts. I feel bad for those in the cold, young and old, as the day comes to night they are left behind in the cold. Let's help them have a home just like ours. I would like for everyone to have a safe home to live just like mine, so we can all stay safe, warm and feel happy when we think of home. Remember “A house is built with boards and beams, a home is built with love and dreams.”
