My Meaning of Home

The word “home'' means a lot to me. Home is my favourite place to be. I am one of the kids who has two homes. I would be lucky to even have one home. I know a lot of people don't have a home and sometimes that really bothers me. So before you read the rest of this, I want to let you know that one of the reasons I am making this essay is for those poor people that don't have homes. I live with my Mom for one week, and the next week I go to my Dads. It's been going on like this for about 3 years. I feel very attached to both of them! One thing I love about each of them is that they are both special in different ways. My Mother’s home has a nice cozy fireplace. She also has the cutest baby in the world! My Dad's home looks amazing because of the lovely decor. One other thing I love is both of my warm rooms. At my Mom’s, I share a bunk bed with my youngest sister! At my Father’s home, I have my own big room with a beautiful mirror! I forgot to mention that my Mom and Dad are neighbors! Everything I just said are reasons why my two homes are different, and that's what makes them special. This is why I feel my home is my safest place to be. Life can be like lemons, but home is my lemonade.
