The Difference Between a House Versus a Home

A home is a place where someone lives and where they have an emotional attachment to. Whereas a house is just a place where someone stays. A home is made with love, joy, and happiness. A house is made of bricks, wood, and concrete. A home normally has a family living in it, a house normally does not have a family living in it. A home is a place where you can call it home and you feel loved and cozy there. A house is just a building. My home has a family in it, my animals, food, water, a place to sleep. Some people don't have a home so this is why I am writing this! Everyone would love to have a place to call home. But some people can't afford a home. One of my classmates has a quote in her home and it says “A house is made out of boards and beams but a home is made out of love and dreams”. A house is a physical shelter but it's also a place to make a home. Most homes start off as a house then a loving and caring family moves into the house and fills it with joy, laughter, and loving hearts.
