The Meaning of Home

Google says home is where you live permanently but to me I think home is wherever you want it to be. Home can be anywhere, home can be anything, and it can be with anyone you want it to be with. Home can be in an attic or home can be in a basement. Home is where you feel most safe and cozy. The place you live may change throughout your life but your home can be in more than one place. Home is where you were raised. Home is where you learned how to talk. Home is where you learned how to walk. Home is where you learned how to read and write. Home is where you slept every night. Home is where you felt at best. Home is where you never feel judged. Home is where there is love and joyfulness with no hate or detestation. Home is where everyone is loved. So to summarise what I think what home means to me. Home is a place for you and me. Home is a place for harmony. Home is a place that we create. Home is a feeling that we make. Home can be anywhere, attic or basement. Home is for me, home is for you. Home is for everybody no matter your differences. Home is a place safe and cozy. No one left out, everyone loved. That is what home means to me! Name: Yusuf Rahman Grade: 6 School: Highland Creek Public School 140 Military Trail, Scarborough, Ont, M1C 1A8
