Home

My home is a loving place full of happiness and space. Home is beautiful and wonderful, a place where I am safe, not unsafe. My home is delightful, determined and daring, full of chores and snores. Home is where my Mother and Brother are. My home has wooden floors and white doors, comfy chairs and strong stairs. My home is welcoming and amazing. My home is full of wonder and sometimes wander. There is my Dad who is very glad, my brother we don’t like one another. My sister Belle I sometimes call her smell, my dog Peggy she is very shaggy. There is me Hope, some people call me nope. My home is nice and warm, keeps us safe in big storms. I had plenty of food in my childhood, but sometimes I wonder if I never had a home I could have been writing a different poem. Do people have full meals? Do they have automobiles? Do they have comfy chairs or strong stairs? I guess I will never know. I am lucky to have a home, I know that I will never be alone. Hope
