House vs Home

To me a home is different then a house. Home can be anywhere, home could be a box laying in the middle of the street or it could be an apartment or a trailer. No matter where it is its still a home on the inside. Home is a place that is full of memories, love, and laughter. Unlike a house our home is where we grew up, where we were born, a place of comfort. In a home you can be yourself and not be ashamed. Its a place where you can be lazy all day and not be judged. It`s where you've spent milestones like your 10th birthday, where you have earned your first dollar. It`s where you've spent your first dollar. On the other hand a house only has four walls and a roof. It has no memories, no comfort, it`s just a building. People most of the time think house and home are the same but they are far from the same. A house is a place and a home is a feeling. In a home you feel safe because you're with your family but in a house you could be robbed any minute! Of course it`s still a low chance but if you do then your family will protect you in your home, but in your house you're alone. ‘It take hands to build a house but it takes hearts to build a home’.
