Meaning of Home

Every time someone mentioned the word home I thought of a structure but since I realized what a home actually is. A home isn’t just a structure, a home is where I feel loved, I feel loved thanks to the people in my home because they love me and I love them. Home is someplace I feel comfortable, I feel comfortable due to my bed, my clothes, all my belongings but most importantly the people I love are in my home. Home is somewhere I never feel alone, I never feel alone because someone in my home is always there for me. Home is a place where there is hope. Home can never be taken away. Home is where I can be myself and make mistakes without anybody judging me. Home is a place where my family and loved ones always give me support. Home is a place where I find relief. I find relief because in my home I can be myself and I feel comfortable. Home is somewhere we build memories as a family. There are memories in my home because I’ve grown up, I’ve learnt how to walk, talk, ride my bike, I’ve learnt how to have fun and I’ve learnt what family actually is. “Everybody should have a nice warm place that they can call their own but more importantly everyone should have a home where they can have memories of their own, feel comfortable, find relief and have hope. That's what home means to me.”
