Home

To me home means safety, comfort, and happiness! Home means safety to me because I am protected from criminals. I feel protected because there are a lot of phones that I could call 911 with, all of the doors are locked and I have a cat that is very aggressive towards strangers that would probably claw their legs to shreds. I also have access to a lot of pans so if they try to assault me I could knock them out like Rapunzel knocks out Flynn in Tangled. Home means comfort to me because I can relax on the couch, have fun playing video games and lie in my bed comfortably when I fall asleep. Home is emotionally comforting too because at home I have time to process what has happened during the day. If something bad happens I can try to comprehend it or I can just try to relax and forget it depending on the severity of the situation. I am happy at home because of my cats, Shadow and Avery, and my family. Shadow is a nice cat, she rarely claws and always cuddles and comforts me. Avery makes me happy she lets me pet her sometimes and helps me feel protected against danger because she is fierce when she feels threatened. Having my family around makes me feel happy because I am free to be myself with no fear of being judged. Home is somewhere I feel protected, relaxed and loved. Home is one of my favourite places to be.
