Swan’s Nest
House.
The dull Mourning Dove’s distant nest.
An Albatross around her neck.
A cold,
Barren, nest.
Home.
The warm,
Loving,
Humble abode of the Heron.
With the help of a gentle Black-Crowned Crane,
And a home-building White-Eared Heron,
The lonely Mourning Dove became anew,
She spread her wings and became a Swan.
The homely Swan settled in her nest
And fell in to an eternal rest
Alongside the peace of having someplace special.
And that lofty abode,
Is called home.
Although home is as fragile as a Hummingbird,
It is still special.
And it’s your own,
Perfectly unique,
Home.
