Home: A Place to be Safe

A home is not just a four-wall foundation It is a place where you have good communication. My family will stay with me forever no matter the weather Where you have forgiveness even through sickness Where you're united and excited. In my home I feel like I belong and that I can be strong In my home, I learned everything and now I feel like I can do anything They taught me how to be smart and how to have a heart. Memories will be with me forever no matter where I settle Laughter may just be a trait but it will never deflate In my home, we have generosity and curiosity. For the people that don't have a house to call a home, I wish you a home with a garden gnome. A home is just a space but without the warmth and feeling, it sure can be unappealing. I feel bad for those out in the cold, young or old Their story should be told, and will be bold.
