Home /hōm/ Noun _______________________________ A gathering place for family to unite for joy and laughter. Home. A simple, four-letter word. For some, home is just a building, an inanimate object to which they have no sentimental value towards. To others, home is a paradise, a treasure to which they would never give up willingly. It can be a fortress, an impenetrable wall of safety and security, protecting you from the madness of life. A sanctuary, a place to fall back when the world itself closes on you. It can be a breath of fresh air, a warm embrace of peace, love and serenity. An indescribable rush of emotions, welcoming all. A glue, keeping together a family. Walls made up of the strength of love and memories, indestructible to anything the world decides to throw at it. Home is a Sanctuary, a Fortress, a Love. Home isn’t just a building. A house. A building you can destroy. You can never destroy a home. It can burn. It can blow up. In the end, this four-letter word ends up being one of the strongest things ever. It can’t be destroyed because you keep it in your heart. Home is Hope. It’s Love. It’s Peace. I can’t explain the meaning of home, because we already know what it means. Deep in our hearts, home will always be there. The connection between you and your home makes it indestructible. It doesn’t matter if your home is a house, an apartment, or even a shack. It’s Home. It’ll always be. Habitable Open Magnificent Extraordinary “A man travels the world over in search of what he needs, and returns Home to find it.” -George A. Moore
