The Meaning of Home

Home means being in a place safe and sound.  It is a place where I always feel loved and cared.  Home means lots of things like growing up making memories and learning how to walk/run. A house is a place to feel free and safe place to talk about feelings.  Always remember that a home is more than  walls, doors, and a roof,  it’s a safe place  where people bring happiness  to your life around you.  Some people in the world are not as fortunate as me. This makes me feel sad   it feels like it is not really fair for them  to be living outside in the cold  with no protection. I am thankful for Habitat Humanity  giving shelters  to  people that don’t have a safe place to live. I hope writing this poem makes a difference  for a family without a place to stay and live their life.  With grateful memories  and free time to spend with my family.  I wish for everyone to get a home  because of these poems.
