Home is Not the Walls that Surround It

Home Is not the walls that surround it but the people inside it. Full of Love, life and happiness. From Cold winter nights, snuggled up in my warm bed with hot cocoa and a giggle from my baby sister,to warm summer days in front of the warm crackling fire with a high five from my cousin. Home is where I am happy, where I am cared about. Some people are not as lucky as me though. Home protects me from thundering storms, thieves full of lies, but it is much more than just a place I hide from storms. It is a place I stand courageously, against all the worries of life. It's where I feel safe, it's where I feel protected. My house is cozy, but that is not my favorite thing about my house, my favorite thing about my house is that it is not a house,it is more than a house it is a home, yes i think there is a difference between a house and a home A house is a building you live in, but a home is somewhere you are loved and you feel welcome. I have both a home and a house. But what really pulls on heartstrings is Some people don't have this comfort. They are on the streets scavenging for food.I have nice clothes and a house. They have rags and the streets I have good food They have trash. They need help and I want to be that help.
