The Meaning Of Home

My home will always stay related to my family. It might sound weird but it is reality in my situation. This is my story. I used to live in a very nice city in Damascus in Syria. When I was born, war started in some areas in Syria. Then it started near my house so I had to move to my grandmother’s house. At that time I didn't really have a home, I was bouncing back and forth between my dad's family's house and my moms family's house. At that time my family was my home. Then the war started near their houses too. So me and my home (which is my family) moved to Jordan. We lived in a house there for 3 years and then me and my home moved to another house. After 2 years me and my home moved to Canada. We stayed at a hotel for 20 days, After that we moved to a basement. We stayed there for 2 months because we were looking for an apartment or a house to stay in. We rented an apartment and we are still living in it. I don’t really know if we would move again or not but what home means to me is FAMILY. I don’t really care what ever place I am in but what really matters is that my family is with me and I am living in a warm place where I am safe and where I am living in peace. I am very happy to be with my home in Canada.
