House vs Home

There are many differences between a house and a home. A house is a building with 4 walls and a roof. Inside a house there is furniture, appliances and other things. But a home is so much more than just a house. A home is where you find love, where you find happiness and make memories. My home is where I rest and relax with my family. A home is a place where you feel safe. Where I gather and invite friends over to have fun. One time I came home from home school and I was mad because I didn’t finish an assignment. Then my Mom helped me finish it. My home is a place where you can ask for help. My home is where you play games like Risk or Clue. I wish everyone could have a house to call home. And thanks to Habitat for Humanity now more people can have a home.
