What Does Home Mean to Me?
Home is a place to me where I can find all my stuff, my family and pets and my xbox that I play all day every day. My stuff is important to me. If my stuff was taken away, l would feel like a sloth without his boots and top hat because all sloths need boots and a top hat.
Home to me is somewhere I can feel safe. I can snuggle into my bed and fall asleep knowing that everything will be safe and sound. It’s like going to sleep in a nice warm burrito tucked in with a nice lettuce leaf.
There are different places that I call home like my house, England, maybe even a restaurant or park. It is a place that brings back nice memories, like when I boxed an octopus for a meatball.
But what home is NOT is a place that feels unsafe and insecure. It isn’t where you can't feel yourself and you are super uncomfortable, like if you were in a cage that you were stuck in and it was cold and dark. That would not feel like home.
What home should be for everyone is a place you can feel safe, you can express yourself and feel calm. Everyone should have someone to go to when they're stressed, and everyone should feel like a nice warm burrito. That's what home should feel like for everyone.
