The Meaning of Home in my Family

Home is where special memories are made. It’s where friendships are built and kindness and love exist. Home is like your laboratory, imagination station or your Craft area. It’s a place where you can be anyone you desire to be. Like a doctor, a nurse, or someone who explores the jungle. Home is where you learn how to talk, walk, or ride your bike. Home is where you learn a favourite hobby like hockey, dance or the guitar. Whether your home is noisy or quiet, you still love your family. It's a place where you can feel comfortable and goofy. It's a place where your parents support you and it doesn’t matter to them if you are part of the LGBTQ+ community or not. To my parents, it’s where they can relax after a long day of work and they are always happy to see us because they always miss us. Some of us can be inspired by our homes and that can lead us to build homes or builders. To my dog, it means she gets to see her owner and be happy. To my brother, it means gaming and relaxing. To one of my sisters, home means a place where you feel safe and comfortable. Home to my oldest sister is a nice warm bed to sleep in at night. At the end of a long day, I enjoy watching the light reflecting off my wall as it helps me to fall asleep.
