The Meaning of Home

Haven Jan.17, 2022 Meaning of Home How do we know that a place is a home? I think a home can be different for everyone. Some people think it is a house that you live in, while others think it is more of a feeling. For me, it is both! Some people feel distress when they are away from home. That is called “homesickness”. Homesickness can be felt for many different places, not just your house. It can be felt for any place that you feel welcome and safe. For me, I call my house my home because it is where I feel loved and secure. I love the feeling of coming home at the end of the school day to my home, where I can relax. Everyone deserves a home! ​ ​
