What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where you go everyday and you sleep, eat, sower, and do your own things. It’s also a place where you have all of your most favourite things like your favourite stuffed animal, your favourite shirt, or your favourite blanket. You could have family traditions in your home like music, decorations, and food from your country. Home has family in it, even pets. It also doesn't have to be your mom and dad in your home, it can be an aunt, a grandparent, just your mom and step dad, or your dad and step mom. You have your bedroom in your home too with your special memories in there. You will also have memories in your home like when you have done an experiment or when you first found out you were getting a pet. Home should hopefully be a safe place to go to after school or somewhere else. Home can be where you opened your favourite gift on Christmas or where you heard really exciting news. This is what home means to me. A safe and joyful and happy place to be. E. Stonehouse
