What Home Means to Me

My favourite thing about my home is the chicken coop. It's in the backyard. I like to watch the chickens and sometimes I go into the henhouse. I'm happy I live in a village so I can have farm animals. My family, not chickens, live in my house. My mom, my dad, my brothers and my sisters make my house a home. I sing with my mom in my home. I pretend to be a rabbit when I sing. We sing in Low German. I am thankful for the happy home I live in with my family.
